We believe in supporting the causes our colleagues get behind, helping to make a difference within the communities and regions they live in.
For us, sharing their passion is the ideal way to give something back to the communities that support us. The George F White Group through a range of projects supports good causes throughout the area.
The George F White Group supports local charities and community organisations in a number of ways including direct sponsorship, provision of services and volunteering. Many of our colleagues also play an active part in the communities where they live and work.
Below are details of the charities and organisations we currently or have recently supported:
Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund (RAFBF)
The North Yorkshire office of George F White manage a portfolio of properties owned by the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund in North Yorkshire, Teeside, Cleveland, East Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. We have worked with the Fund for over 20 years and have recently been asked to expand our property base.
The work involves liaising closely with the beneficiaries/tenants (many of whom have disabilities), project managing property adaptations and general maintenance work in addition to undertaking surveys and valuations.
We work with a trusted team of contractors and work closely with the RAFBF Housing Officers in London. The work is varied and incredibily rewarding.

The Addington Fund
We enjoy an ongoing relationship with this charity that seeks to support farming families during times of hardship. Our support has included direct donations along with invitations to join us a specific events such as the Great Yorkshire Show.

We provided the services of our Communications Team to design and print the menus for a fund raising Dinner Dance & Auction in addition to a direct donation.
