National Apprenticeship Week 2016
It’s National Apprenticeship Week, a week designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on people, businesses and the wider economy. As a business, we’re great advocates of apprenticeship schemes. Apprenticeships not only allow us to offer opportunities to young people, we are able to mould them to our business, with our apprentices living and breathing the George F White culture.
We’ve had great success with our apprentices, with each of our apprenticeships growing into roles within the business or having roles created for them. One of our most recent apprentices, Adam was even named Apprentice of the Year 2015 at the Newcastle Business Awards. Adam works with the GFW Letting team and is based in Newcastle, where he is the main contact for all GFW Letting tenants.
Given our success, apprentices will continue to form a key part of growing the George F White business, so as part of National Apprenticeship Week, we shared our experience working with apprentices with CBI. Read our full article for CBI here.
