George F White has opened the doors on a new enterprise in Newcastle – GFWLetting. Focusing on the lettings and property management market in Tyne and Wear & County Durham GFWLetting will bring to Tyneside a truly different approach to property lettings.

With a sharp focus on service delivery and transparency of fees GFWLetting are looking forward to breaking into the market in what is an all new move for the firm in terms of location.

Basing our charges on a flat fee structure means we only charge for the work we actually do with no hidden costs for landlord and tenant alike. Landlords will pay a flat fee for tenant find and full management to let their house with GFWLetting. This includes the marketing of the property including property portals such as Rightmove, To Let boards, tenant referencing and drawing up tenancy agreements. It is essential for landlords to have faith in their agent and so as part of this our referencing of applicants is both comprehensive and independent.

Unlike many agents we seek to maximise return on a landlord’s investment and so would encourage longer term tenancy agreements thus reducing both void periods and repeated agent fees. For fully managed properties our monthly management fee represents value for money, and does not penalise the higher rental value by charging a percentage of the monthly rent. We ensure that your property is cared for throughout the term of a tenancy with regular inspections and any repairs being dealt with in cost effective and timely manner by insured and competent tradesmen. At the end of the tenancy the condition of the property is inspected and gfwLettings will deal with any issues surrounding the return or retention of the bond.

We will be available at times to suit landlords – not just 9-5 Monday to Friday, representing you and ensuring your investment is both protected and cared for.

Tenants too can look forward to a new type of service, where they are treated with respect and aren’t landed with hidden fees before, during or after a tenancy. With no holding fees, no unecessary administration fees all tenants have to pay for is their referencing fee of £100 for a single person or £150 for two. This in effect secures a property provided satisfactory references are returned. We will not charge you to draw up or renew an agreement.
