How we can help you...

Service providers, businesses and owners of buildings accessed by members of the public should ensure that their buildings are accessible to all and do not discriminate against a physical disability, impairment, health condition, age, race, gender, etc.

In order to comply with the Equality Act 2010, owners of such buildings should make reasonable adjustments to ensure a building is accessible. This requirement also applies to employers who should ensure reasonable adjustments are in place for employees.

The necessary requirements and review of a building can be determined by undertaking an Accessibility Audit. Our trained, independent Chartered Building Surveyors will complete a full and thorough review of a building to establish measures required to ensure a building is reasonably accessible and legally compliant.

Clients should note that an access audit should be reviewed periodically to ensure continued compliance and when in doubt, our Surveyors would be happy to advise and assist.
