How we can help...
Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s) were introduced in 2007 as part of legislation designed to improve the energy performance of buildings. There are two types of EPC that relate to two broad categories:
They are fundamentally similar in that they have the same objective of classifying the building in terms of its current and potential performance, however, they require different skills and assessment criteria.
Our team of energy assessors are experienced in energy assessment of all types of property, from small residential, to multi-floored commercial buildings whilst also having a sound understanding of the overall energy market as well as energy generation management and development.
In April 2018, The Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) Regulations took serious effect. They require landlords, of both residential and commercial properties, with an EPC rating of a F or G, to undertake improvement works prior to a property being let or a tenancy renewal. We ensure you are compliant by carrying out non-invasive additional assessments, and then managing any necessary improvement works, including the installation of energy generation equipment if required.
