The Area
Fenwick is located on the West Side of the A1 heading Northbound and is located approximately 10 miles south of Berwick and 20 miles North of Alnwick. The house is approximately 5 miles from Bamburgh. Fenwick is on the Newcastle to Edinburgh cycle route and is also on the famous St Cuthbert’s Way. There are also many other Walks that pass this property leading from Coastal to inland. The Holy Island Causeway lies three miles to the East of the Fenwick Village.

Nearby Berwick-upon-Tweed is a historic market town known for its fortified Elizabethan walls. The town is renowned for its architecture and The River Tweed. There are a wide range of independent retailers and well known stores such as M&S, Next and major supermarkets. There is also a popular leisure centre with swimming pool, Tennis courts, sailing and golf at nearby Goswick. First and secondary schooling is available as well as private prep and senior education at nearby Longridge Towers. The town has an inter-city railway station with regular service to London, Edinburgh and Newcastle. The A1 is easily reached for commuting both north and south.

The Property
17 The Village has been a much loved family holiday home for many years. back to around 1755 and sits in the middle of Fenwick.
