The Property
Holroyd House is a unique and charming property, boasting many original features. It is believed it was originally one of the village’s Inns.

The main entrance to the property leads into the reception vestibule. The living room is situated to the right hand side and is a bright and spacious room, benefitting from a large sliding sash window to the front elevation. Beams to the ceiling and a multi fuel stove housed within an impressive stone inglenook with hearth all contributing to the character of the property (please note this is not currently in working order).

Returning to the reception vestibule, the dining room is situated to the left hand side which includes a cast iron feature fireplace and beams to the ceiling. To the rear of the property is the kitchen which is fitted with a range of farmhouse style base and wall mounted storage cupboards which are topped with contrasting worktops and incorporate a ceramic one and a half bowl sink with mixer tap. Integral appliances include electric oven and grill, gas burner hob and dishwasher. Leading from the kitchen is the utility room which features plumbing for a washing machine, useful storage cupboards and ceramic sink and also provides access to the rear.

A Listed, solid oak, dog-leg staircase leads to the first floor where three spacious bedrooms can be found, two of which are well proportioned doubles.

The family bathroom is located on this floor and is fitted with a white suite comprising low level WC, wash hand basin, sunken bath and separate double shower cubicle.

Stairs lead from the landing up to the master bedroom suite which runs almost the width of the house, this room is lit by two sky lights and has vaulted ceiling exposing original A frame beams. The master bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room with WC and sink.

To the rear of the property there is a large cottage garden which is predominately laid to lawn with a variety of flowering borders and mature shrubbery as well as productive fruit trees. There is also a pleasant seating area which is an ideal space for entertaining. A small lane leads to the back of the property and through double wooden gates where parking for up to two vehicles is found. There is also the possibility of renting an additional space from the Church and parking on the road.
