Accurate mapping and understanding of relationships is an essential part of land ownership and management. As our GIS Technician, James provides detailed bespoke plans by using geographic information systems software. By analysing and manipulating dense spatial data, James uses GIS as a tool to highlight opportunities to the Energy team and wider firm. His site findings skills have provided the Energy team with 3D visualisations of wind turbines during the appraisal stage whilst highlighting constraints, enabling informed, smart decision making.
Prior to joining George F. White in 2017, James worked for a geothermal drilling consultancy in Reykjavík where he gained experience in computer generated 3D conceptual modelling and GIS platforms.
