Robert helps landowners and occupiers manage their business affairs to maximise the potential of their assets. Experienced in the preparation, analysis and on-going management of detailed business financials and with knowledge of the tax implications on various trading and occupational structures, Robert takes a proactive role in business strategy and estate management.
With a detailed understanding of the Agricultural Holdings Act (AHA) 1986 and Agricultural Tenancies Act (ATA) 1995 legislation Robert is regularly involved in rent review negotiations, surrender and re-grants and experienced with succession and end of tenancy claims as well as the preparation of Farm Business Tenancies (FBT), licences and tenancy tenders.
Other areas Robert is able to advise on include expert valuations for a variety of purposes, rural grant and farm subsidy advice as well as negotiating compensation and compulsory purchase discussions resulting from infrastructure and utility projects.
